What we collect
When you use Register Interest, we collect your name, work email, organisation, organisation type, business objective, target market and message. You may also provide a sector or product, industry and organisation website. If you came from a relevant page, we may keep the page and service context with your enquiry. We record an enquiry identifier and submission time. Register Interest does not create an account.
Our internal notification email contains the enquiry, the submitting IP address and browser user agent. IP address and browser user agent are not stored as fields in the commercial enquiry record. We also process limited request and session information to operate the site, protect forms and limit abusive submissions. Please avoid including sensitive or confidential information in a message unless it is necessary and you are authorised to share it.
How we use enquiries
We use enquiry information to assess, route and respond to genuine business requests. We rely on our legitimate interests in handling those requests, subject to your rights. Required form fields help us assess and answer your voluntary enquiry. Submitting the form does not guarantee an invitation, introduction or business outcome.
We record the enquiry before attempting to email a notification to hello@konectplus.com and an acknowledgement to you. If an email fails, the enquiry record remains. We use technical information to keep the website and forms working and secure.
Who may receive information
The sole Konect Plus operator may review enquiries. The website and the hello@konectplus.com mailbox run through our cPanel hosting account on a Stablepoint-branded server. Website notification and acknowledgement messages are handed to that server's local Exim mail system for delivery. Hosting and mail services process information needed to operate the site, store the enquiry database and mailbox, protect the service and deliver messages. KONECT PLUS LTD determines the purposes of its enquiry processing and remains responsible for its privacy obligations. We do not automatically send Register Interest enquiries to a separate CRM or publish them on the website.
How long we keep it
Register Interest enquiry records become eligible for deletion after 24 months. Our operator reviews them monthly and carries out controlled deletion, which may take up to one further month. If a separate business relationship develops, relevant business or legal records may be kept separately under an applicable retention rule.
Our approved retention policy sets 90 days for internal notification emails containing enquiry data and technical logs, and 35 days for ordinary rolling backups. These copies are subject to separate operator review and controlled disposal; deletion of a database record does not itself remove them. Historical recovery backups are outside the ordinary 35-day rolling schedule while their continued need and disposal are separately reviewed. When restoring a backup, we must reapply prior enquiry deletion decisions before using restored records. A specific incident or legal obligation may require a documented exception.
Cookies and external resources
The site uses session and form-security cookies to operate forms and access controls. If you choose another site language, a language-preference cookie remembers that choice for one year. Public pages request fonts from Bunny Fonts (fonts.bunny.net, operated by EU-based BunnyWay d.o.o.) and a CSS script from cdn.tailwindcss.com. Your browser connects directly to these services, disclosing connection information such as your IP address and browser details. We have not enabled an automatic transfer of Register Interest enquiries to another CRM.
Your rights
You may ask us for access to or correction of your personal information, or ask for its deletion or restricted use where applicable. You may object to our use of your information based on legitimate interests. The sole Konect Plus operator handles privacy requests through the monitored address hello@konectplus.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
